ART CONNECTION RHODE ISLAND ANNOUNCES
15th Year Anniversary Celebration with “A State Connected By Art” Fundraiser
Pawtucket, RI, February 26, 2026 – Art Connection Rhode Island (ACRI) is proud to celebrate its 15th Anniversary with a special fundraising event, “A State Connected By Art,” on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 5:30–8:00 PM at the ACRI Art Gallery, 80 Fountain Street, Suite 94, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
The evening will feature a gallery of donated artwork currently in ACRI’s Art Placement Program, a Silent Auction, Entertainment, Refreshments, a spotlight gallery honoring the late artist, Roberta VanDerMolen, and more. Proceeds from the event will directly sustain ACRI’s programs.
Marking fifteen years of connecting local artists with nonprofit organizations, ACRI continues its mission of transforming community spaces across Rhode Island through the placement of original, donated artwork. The anniversary celebration honors the artists, nonprofit partners, sponsors, and supporters who have helped build a statewide network rooted in creativity, generosity, and impact.
Since its founding in 2011, ACRI has placed more than 2,280 original works of art in over 100 nonprofit organizations throughout Rhode Island, including health clinics, behavioral healthcare facilities, family shelters, youth centers, and community agencies. ACRI envisions a future where every service agency in Rhode Island is enriched with original artwork, creating inspiring spaces for the communities they serve.
“Fifteen years ago, we began with a simple idea, creating equal access to art across Rhode Island communities,” said Wendy Ingram, Founder and Board Chair of ACRI. “Today, we celebrate a statewide network of generosity and collaboration. ‘A State Connected By Art’ reflects the heart of our mission and the partnerships that make this work possible.”
Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Advance tickets are available at zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/15th-anniversary-fundraiser.
ACRI gratefully acknowledges event sponsors BankNewport and the Iona Dobbins Art Fund for their generous support of this milestone celebration.
Community members, artists, nonprofit partners, and supporters are invited to join ACRI in celebrating fifteen years of art, impact, and connection across Rhode Island.
