Art Connection-RI is seeking a Program & Administration Manager
Program & Administrative Manager
Part Time Position
Under the general direction of the Art Connection-RI Board Chair, the Program and Administrative Manager plays a crucial role in carrying out the mission of placing art with nonprofits throughout Rhode Island.
This includes communication with artists and nonprofits, site visits, carrying out art selections and follow up by drafting art documents, wall labels, etc.
The candidate will manage the office, handle communications with the board.
Part-time 20 hours per week, $24 per hour ($24,960 per year)

Experience:
Bachelor's degree and background in the arts or arts administration required.
Two years of experience and tech savviness preferred.
Experience and proficiency in Google Drive and Adobe required
Social media, web design and PR experience required
Event planning experience is a plus, but not required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Office Management
● Meet regularly with Board Chair and Development Manager to manage daily operations
● Oversee office needs, including answering main phone line, coordinating technology maintenance, purchase office supplies and equipment, etc.
● Manage AC-RI website content / design and social media
● Manage Mailchimp for quarterly newsletters, annual appeal, and events
2. Program Operations: Art placements
● Process applications for art, schedule site visits and art selection sessions
● Prepare presentations for art selections by non-profit organizations
● Facilitate art selections with non-profits (requires some travel)
● Create follow-up documents for the artists and the art recipients
● Create artist labels, assemble art storage area, and schedule art pickups.
● Follow up with art recipients re: PR, thanking the artist, and art reception.
3. Program Operations: Donation Management
● Build relationships with art donors and communicate with artists
● Process art offered for donation
● Oversee art storage
4. Finances
● Maintain basic organization financial records, including expense receipts
● Maintain checkbook and pay bills and expenses.
● Communicate with volunteer employees as needed
● Manage bookkeeping, prepare reports, and coordinate tax documents
5. Board Relations
● Prepare documents for Board meetings
● Attend Board meetings to reach operational goals
● Communicate with Board Chair and other members
6. Annual Fund Raiser & Events
● Support the planning efforts for the Annual Event
● Organize Board members’ and volunteers’ responsibilities for the event
● Contact local media to advertise events and send invitations and press releases
