AC-RI Reaches Milestone: 1000 Placements
On September 21st, AC-RI visited the Leon Mathieu Senior Center (LMSC) in Pawtucket.
After much deliberation by this enthusiastic group, eleven (11) original artworks from Art Connection's placement program will soon have a place to call home.
This puts AC-RI at over 1000 placed artworks!
Art Connection Partners with Family Service-RI
AC-RI was invited to join recent art recipient, Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI), for their 14th annual Brighter Futures Luncheon at the RI Convention Center on October 1.
That afternoon, FSRI honored Central Falls Mayor James Diossa with the Brighter Futures Award for his dedication to the children and families of Rhode Island.
On display at the luncheon were twenty (20) artworks from FSRI’s recent art selection. Program Manager, Uriah Donnelly, worked closely with the FSRI staff to transport and set up the artwork on easels throughout the ballroom.
Family Service of Rhode Island
FSRI staff recently selected forty (40) original artworks, donated by established and emerging artists, which will be exhibited throughout the two level building on Hope Street in Providence.
FSRI commits to providing immediate relief to those in need while helping find pathways out of poverty. Art Connection is proud to connect the lives they touch with the power of art.
We have the coolest job! Spent the day with the Boys & Girls Club of Newport who selected forty (40) pieces of donated art from AC-RI's placement program.
The Club’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential by providing quality programs that focus on Health & Wellness, Education & Career Development and Character & Leadership .
Thrive Behavioral Health (formerly the Kent Center)
Twenty (20) works of art have found a new home with the dedicated staff at Thrive Behavioral Health– a program that improves the quality of life for people facing behavioral health challenges in Rhode Island.
